Here are a couple of shots of the second floor wheel room at Greenwich House, and a slip decoration thing I am working on. The white stoneware cups get a handprint with black slip, then later a nearly identical imprint with white slip. They will get a simple clear,or light celadon glaze.

Mid-Century Style and Studio Pottery @ Greenwich House

This terrific show transforms the gallery space into a period room by presenting the pots amid furniture, tapestries and ephemera from the 1950's - 60's. It kicks off the hundredth anniversary year celebrations by showcasing some of the important ceramic artists who had a connection with the school and continues to Feb. 4th.
